Thanks to its small size and anatomical shape, Racetime2  is a tool that allows easy handling and ease of use. The function keys and the help messages, which appear on the alphanumeric display, allow a simple tool-user interface without long apprenticeships.

Ease of use:
The ease of use is such that it allows the individual athlete to time a training session in a completely automatic way. All times are in fact detected, stored and printed, without any type of manual intervention. The wide range of software programs available, the ability to immediately print (on the removable printer) the start lists and finish rankings and the possibility of interfacing with PCs and scoreboards, guarantee professional use of the device in every sport. 

 

Keyboard: The presence of 4 function keys and other dedicated keys (disabling lines, arrow keys, etc. ...) ensures that the machine functions can be accessed very quickly. The ergonomic layout of the keys (spacing and dislocation) and the good tactile perception, allow rapid typing.

 

Entrances: The connection box for Racetime2 allows a simple connection of several accessories to the Racetime2 chronometer. In addition to the three main lines, present both on the Amphenol socket and on 4 mm sockets (start, lap, aux and stop) there are connectors for serial input / output and analog inputs (climate probes, etc. ...).

 

Transmission of impulses via radio: Racetime2, in combination with the LinkGate system, is also able to receive the start, split (up to 14 split times all identified) and finish pulses via radio with maximum reliability, freeing the operator from the need to be connected via cable to the arrival photocell. But not only that… it is also possible to acquire via radio up to 16 passage speeds from as many detection zones, thus moving freely along the path.

 

Reliability: The reliability of the instrument, even in extreme climatic conditions, is guaranteed by the components with an extended temperature range and by the "intelligent" management of the recharge. At any time, the display shows the different phases of the charging process, ensuring that it is carried out correctly. The built-in accumulators guarantee a continuous operation of over 12 hours, even at low temperatures.

You can extract rankings on the performance of the athletes obtained in the entire timing session, in a specific heat or for a single athlete.
 

Tailor-made programs: Racetime2 is also ideal for special applications. One example is the Train Speed ​​program developed for the automatic acquisition of the speed of passage of railway trains.
